My iconic product and the one with which I began my project is the headscarf.
After four years of studying styling, modeling, and fashion marketing, I moved to Israel to start my own business in Jerusalem.
I made the decision to put my creativity to work for the benefit of women. A scarf is a true treasure for a woman, and it should draw attention to the wearer’s attractiveness and inner self. As a result, it must reflect her and be unique. This is the task that AVIGAEL takes on, bringing you scarves made entirely of silk (or cotton) and with one-of-a-kind patterns.
I create one-of-a-kind scarves that are bursting with bright hues and eye-catching prints for a truly distinctive and original look!
As a piece of art, each scarf is signed. They also made the perfect gift to give for a birthday or a wedding.
The bulk of the scarves are designed to be worn as tichels, that is, to cover the hair and ornament the head.
I think about the type of occasion I’m making the scarves for and the clothing they’ll go with while I’m designing them. In addition, the price of my creations is a factor. The quality of the material (there are various varieties of silk), the time spent making the scarves, and the complexity of the designs all influence this.
These scarves cater to the needs of the Jewish community, which has a custom of covering married women’s hair with a tichel. They can, however, be worn in any way you want. It is entirely up to you how you wear your silk scarf, whether for regular use or for a special occasion.
You may wrap it over your head, neck, or even your bag!

The tichel headband, for example, covers half of the hair. It is hand-painted on silk and has an elastic band at the back.
The second turban is tied at the rear with a piece of Velcro and can be used as a partial head covering or as a full head covering by folding down the top of the head sections. These have already been tied.

How to take care of your scarves ?
Hand-washing your scarf in cold water is the only way to care for it (you can add a few drops of detergent). Do not turn the wheel. Using a cloth, gently wipe the scarf and lay it to dry.
You can iron it using the “silk” setting on your iron.
Wear it with a headband or a non-slip cap under your scarf for a better grip.
How long does it take for international shipping to arrive ? It takes around 2 weeks to receive your shipment ; to the United States, France, India, and anywhere else!
