This hand-painted silk matzah cover brings color, meaning, and artistry to your Passover Seder table. Each piece is painted by hand in my studio. The result is a unique Judaica artwork that celebrates the spirit of Pesach.
At the center of the design appear the Hebrew words:
“הלילה הזה כולנו מסובין”
“Tonight we all recline.”
This phrase comes from the Passover Haggadah. It reminds us that the Seder celebrates freedom. The Seder keeps this tradition alive as we retell the story of the Exodus.
The design surrounds the text with flowing botanical shapes. These watercolor elements create movement and depth across the silk. Shades of deep blue, violet, turquoise, and soft gold blend together naturally. The circular composition draws the eye toward the Hebrew words. It creates a calm and elegant focal point on the table.
I paint every matzah cover by hand using professional silk dyes. The colors diffuse naturally into the fabric. This technique creates subtle gradients and soft transitions that printing cannot reproduce.
Because I paint each piece individually, no two covers are identical. Small variations make every piece special. You receive both a functional item for the Seder and an original work of art.
This matzah cover works beautifully as:
- A centerpiece for your Passover Seder table
- A meaningful Jewish holiday gift
- A unique Judaica piece for your home
- A thoughtful present for hosts or newly married couples
The vibrant colors bring warmth and life to the holiday table. The Hebrew verse adds depth and tradition. Together they create a piece that celebrates both art and heritage.
