Bring the beauty of Jerusalem to your Shabbat table
Celebrate Shabbat with a one-of-a-kind hand-painted silk challah cover inspired by the timeless skyline of Jerusalem. Painted entirely by hand on luxurious silk, this artwork captures the warm golden light of the Holy City, featuring its iconic architecture beneath the words “Shabbat Shalom” in elegant Hebrew lettering.
Each challah cover is individually painted, making every piece unique. The soft watercolor effects, warm earthy tones, and delicate gold accents create a refined Judaica piece that will accompany your family for many years.
Whether you’re looking for a meaningful gift or a beautiful addition to your own Shabbat table, this silk challah cover combines tradition, craftsmanship, and contemporary art.
Hand-painted with care
Every challah cover is painted by hand in my Jerusalem studio using professional silk paints that permanently bond with the fabric. The colors become part of the silk itself, creating vibrant shades that remain soft and luminous.
Unlike printed designs, no two challah covers are ever exactly alike. Small variations are part of what makes each piece a genuine original work of art.
